you get all this tone with a line 6 pod??? shit I need to invest in one.. what kind of guitar and what pickups are you running with this one?? I myself have a fender strat with a YJM on the bridge and a hot-rail in the bridge cause I didnt wanna hack my faceplate really

Haha, I'm runnin a 1984 fender profile with rusty old coil pick-ups. haha. The podX3 kicks ass, man. I mean the guitar is great too. She's my baby, and sounds quite good on her own, but she's only 10 years younger than me. haha.

As far as the contest goes.. this is so far one the best peices along with the 28days remix... Its original yet still sticks to the original song.. very nice compositions here.. nice pads and synths used.. only thing Im not liking and its a personal opinion is one the ending.. and number two.. I wish it was about 10bpm faster or so... all and all though nicely done

its good

Theres a couple things I dont like about this one though...

1.. The guy below me mentioned the fade out.. thats 1 thing
2.. Your bass swells get rather annoying after awhile.. it would be alot better to just have a standard bass punch asfter the intro
3.. The song itself is rather repetitve..
4.. I just dont see my dancing to this... maybe at a rave after im High and drunk but thats the only way
5. You got talent to use and mix your instruments.. but you need to make the song less repetitve and learn to use different instruments to connect your intros to your verses and choruses to just make the song "flow" better

Ideas are good.. It sound alot better without the shitty guitar plugin.. sounds like a sytrus plugin.. ne who I can forgive that.. If it where on a real guitar it would sound amazing.. One thing though I believe the speed is way too damn fast.. are you trying to achieve Slayer here??

Another thing is TURN DOWN THE VOLUME.... my ears are bleeding and your clipping ALOT which makes the song itself sound like shit..

You have good ideas and good metal background.. but you need to learn to master a little better.. also dont add so many instruments in at one time... some of the best tunes are composed from a little selection of instruments.. like when you go to the strings thats cool and when you combine the strings and guitar thats good.. but w/e that high pitched thing was kinda ruined it..

like I said though you need to get rid of the clipping because no one will listen past 10seconds of your song because High Frequencies are annoying by themselves and the louder your song is makes them even more annoying.. so try to master this song and then repost it.. I guarantee you will have a higher score

the little drop off part at 1:14 would sound alot better if u held out a piano note and faded it away and then just came in BOOM with the guitar.. right now it doesnt sound natural with the song.. it kinda sounds like a mistake actually.. but Its a nice sound you have going on here

This is repetitive and I understand u made it will loops.. for i wont really judge that.. thats my personal opinion.. other than everything mixed well cept the drums.. the drums sounded too high in volumne actually and it took away from the beautiful sound of the piano.. also if u can I would try to add not buildups but little "filler" pieces in between transition on your loops cause it makes the song sound choppy if u dont which also again removes from the beautifulness.. the key to writing a good sad or happy beautiful tune that gives u chills is to use long and smooth connections between your notes.. also dynamical contrast is a must.. if one instrument is over heard then it can ruin the whole thing..

but all in its decent for like i said just loops put together and mixed.. lets hear some original composition from ya? keep me informed if u post anything like that up

i agree with you... there is a lot of repitition in that song... lol. if you're talking about "original" as in not being a cover or a mix of anything, that's going to be awhile until i post anything like that because I don't have the necessarry tools for that yet... I did however post a very nice mix of a song up... you should give me some feed back on what you think of those songs.

This is REALLY good for only using the standard plugins that fruity loops gives you... If you used other added plugins then im gonna take back my statement.. but if theses are only the factory plugins.. then you did a tremendous job with them.. hit me up if u want some better ones.. you have the talent to use the program thats for sure

Im diggin it.. although I believe your percusion is a tad bit loud for this tune.. like pinke said below me you have that dark feel to the song but the percussion is so loud it seems like its trying to bring in the lighter side of the song and dont bring in the light lol.. over all its nice.. and the little bass swell is groovy also.. the bass is almost to that point where it starts to get nasty... I would hate to look at the wavefile on that bass swell lo9l.. but over all its a great song.. keep on keepin on
